North Carolina Ethics CPE
North Carolina CPAs are required to complete 4 hours of ethics CPE for every CPE reporting period. Course #4825, Ethics and Professional Conduct for North Carolina CPAs, fulfills the North Carolina ethics CPE requirement. The course covers the Code of Professional Conduct, as well as various ethical pronouncements and rulings and discusses issues related to those CPAs working in industry. The 2-hour ethics course is part of the 40 hours of continuing education the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners requires CPA’s in this state to complete annually. North Carolina CPAs must complete their CPE by 12/31 of the year prior to renewal. Note: Only 2 hours of ethics CPE is required if it is completed in group format.
