New York Ethics CPE
New York CPAs are required to complete 4 hours of ethics CPE for every CPE reporting period. Course #4250, Ethics and Professional Conduct for New York CPAs: Foundation Course, fulfills the New York ethics CPE requirement. In addition to conceptual theories, this course provides detailed guidance on the specific laws, rules, and regulations you will need in the future. The 2-hour ethics course is part of the 40 hours of continuing education in any area of study that the New York State Board for Public Accountancy requires CPA’s in this state to complete annually. New York CPA’s may satisfy CPE requirements by completing only 24 hours of study in a specific area. New York CPAs must complete their CPE by December 31st.
